Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting
game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of
GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache treasure hidden at
that location.
Water World Fun Adventures
uses Geocaching techniques to just have FUN! Groups
or teams are asked to find hidden 'treasures' using a GPS. When a
'treasure' is found the group or team is asked to complete a challenge
before continuing to the next 'treasure'. Similar to the 'Minute to Win
It' TV program challenges, the
Water World
Fun Adventures
challenges are developed for
all participants to have FUN. Each considers the participant ages and
involves the entire group or team. No specific athletic ability is
required. Just the ability and desire to have
FUN.
No previous GPS
experience is required and participant age is virtually unlimited, from
child through adult. Techs will train participants and also act as guides
throughout the entire
Water World
Fun Adventure. The
Water World
Fun Adventure
is held entirely on the
Water World
grounds and parents/guardians are encouraged to observe the fun.
